Danielle Gonzalez is a concierge case manager, supporting producers with tasks including applications, underwriting, ordering medical records, and policy documents. Her specialty is in managing complex or large cases, including those with underwriting challenges as well as showing off her funky dance moves to try and make her co-workers laugh. Currently she is working on studying toward advanced underwriting degrees for her ALU and FLMI. She has been with CPS Advantage since 2005 – but actually participated in building predecessor agencies dating back to the mid-1990s.
Danielle strives to proactively communicate with her clients throughout the process, giving updates on each case every other business day. Her high-touch service approach allows the producers she serves to relax, knowing that Danielle is pushing the case forward and keeping them abreast of updates as they occur.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching cooking shows with her husband, Daniel.
Emma Ulmer had extensive experience in coordinating all aspects of even the most complex underwriting files. She arranges for the smoothest possible underwriting experience both for our customers and our vendors. Emma also oversees producer contracting and supervises countless special projects that require attention to detail.
Gayle Cooper, CLU
Gayle Cooper is an illustrations specialist with CPS Advantage. Her role on the team includes advanced case analysis, medical underwriting analysis, and illustration design, but she also enjoys bringing a smile to her coworkers by emailing humorous gifs and memes. It is Gayle’s passion to design life, LTC and policy loan rescue insurance solutions to better meet the needs and goals of her clients.
Beginning her career in the insurance industry in the 1990’s, Gayle understands how important client relationships are to producers. Throughout her career, she has developed a passion for helping producers create a positive experience for their clients, ultimately exceeding client expectations and developing lifelong loyalty. Gayle has been assisting agents and attempting to make her coworkers at CPS Advantage giggle since 2011.
Gayle loves her job, her coworkers, and her customers. She helps support the CPS Advantage team by providing IT support. A mother of three sons, Gayle enjoys spending time with her family and friends at their second home on Lake Havasu, where they are active in motor and water sports.
Katherine assists the New Business team with a variety of administrative tasks such as inputting and uploading applications and producer contracting materials.
Illustration Design, Marketing Support, Medical Underwriting Analysis
Nicole Highwart provides life insurance solutions and marketing support to producers. She offers case-specific illustration design and medical underwriting analysis. She specializes in negotiating challenging impaired risk and avocational life insurance offers to find the best possible solution for clients.
Nicole provides fast, simple, efficient, and reliable service to maximize revenue for producers. She enjoys developing relationships with producers and their teams to ensure their clients always have a positive experience. She is also responsible for maintaining CPS Advantage’s corporate insurance licenses. Nicole joined the CPS Advantage team in 2013.
She previously served as the primary coordinator for CPS Advantage’s Center of Influence Marketing Initiative where she managed the vast library of producer COI files and marketing documents.
Outside of the office, you’ll often find Nicole spending time outdoors with her boyfriend. They enjoy hiking around the foothills of Southern CA, taking walks and exercising, cooking, visiting local museums, and relaxing on the beach.

- Her favorite food is mashed potatoes
- She is OBSESSED with llamas and alpacas. You might find one or two pieces of llama paraphernalia hidden around her office if you look hard enough!
- She has never had a cavity
- She is a PADI certified scuba diver

Teresa Riewerts, CLU, ChFC, CASL
Teresa Riewerts is an advanced case specialist providing expertise in complex cases. It’s her passion to solve tough cases by finding better outcomes for her clients and fixing problematic or broken cases. Whether the need involves estate, business continuation, retirement, business executive benefits, or personal coverage planning — she helps producers simplify their communications and place the best solutions. A veteran of the life insurance industry, Teresa’s knack for finding alternative solutions where none would seem to exist, make her an ideal partner when creative case solutions are required.
Teresa lives in Southern California with her husband and their 3 daughters. She loves living near the beach and spending time outdoors with the family. Teresa is a running enthusiast and enjoys traveling. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
Tisha joined CPS Advantage in 2004. Her prior experience working with a medical records copy service prepared her well for her future roles at CPS Advantage. Tisha knows all the tricks of the trade and can often secure medical records within a few short days – sometimes within hours. Once cases are placed, she confirms cases are released for commissions ASAP, often facilitating case placement in time for our insurers’ commission cycle cut offs. Tisha also support our advisors with various appointment and licensing requirements.
Tracy Cooper, ACS, FLMI
Tracy Cooper provides large case management and underwriting support to the producers she serves. She began her career with Northwestern Mutual in 1989 and moved into the brokerage world in 1995.
Tracy uses a collaborative approach with her producers and clients and enjoys coordinating with underwriters to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for each and every case. Tracy’s experience with a wide variety of challenging financial and medical underwriting situations makes her an ideal partner in case management solutions – from individual personal insurance policies to large business- and trust-owned policies, and everything in between.
Tracy specializes in large case management and enjoys delivering favorable outcomes for challenging cases. Her work as liaison between the producer/client and the carrier – from medical record review to rate class negotiation – often results in better-than-expected solutions, creating invaluable good will for producers with bottom line clients and attorney/CPA COIs alike.

Ty Jacobsen, CLU, ChFC, CASL
Ty Jacobsen works as an insurance solution specialist, providing the right product solutions for clients’ individual goals and circumstances. He works to overcome underwriting challenges and provides unique value with new products and ideas. His specialty is in understanding how new, advanced, or uncommon insurance tools work. He has been with CPS Advantage since 2007.
Ty collaborates with the producers he serves, coming up with appropriate products to best help their clients. He prepares illustration designs, advanced case analysis, medical underwriting analysis, and sales presentations. He enjoys explaining the intricacies of how specific policies are designed.
Through his extensive experience in the insurance industry, Ty has seen mistakes and poor product choices hurt policy owners and their families. It’s his goal to offer the best possible solutions to serve each policy owner both today and in the long-run.
A native of Wyoming, Ty enjoys all things outdoors, including hiking, golf, and spending time at the beach.
